M4 / A48 to Carmarthen and then ignore your SatNav!
At Carmarthen take the A40 westwards through St Clears towards Haverfordwest for about 25 mins.
At the A40 / A478 (Narberth) roundabout turn right onto the A478 towards Cardigan for about 25 mins.
At the A478 / A487 roundabout take 2nd exit and drop down towards Cardigan old bridge about 1 minute.
At the Eagle pub turn left onto B4546 signed St Dogmaels and Poppit Sands, follow the main road, we are the blue house opposite the Ferry Inn.
A487 southwards (about 1hr) until the A487/A478 roundabout, here turn right and drop down to the Eagle pub where you turn left for St Dogmaels.

Aberystwyth (from the North and the Midlands e.g. Birmingham) and
Carmarthen (from London, Heathrow and the South)
Sunday travel to Carmarthen requires a direct taxi or a long bus journey via Fishguard/Haverfordwest.
NB 1.5 hrs+ saved travel time towards Cardiff / London / Heathrow
The 460 bus Cardigan to Carmarthen Mon-Sat saves 1.5 hour travel time compared with taking the Poppit Rocket 405 bus to Fishguard Square, then bus to Fishguard/Goodwick Station, then train to Carmarthen eastwards.
The train from Fishguard stops at Carmarthen so no extra ticket is required if guests outward ticket is from Fishguard.
